"I have sold over 10 million since June of this year when I began my sponsorship and almost all of those sales have come from buyers and sellers going on the site. I have now hired a buyer's agent to help with all my buyers and a co-listing agent to help with the increased volume of listings I'm getting. My broker has now put on two more agents in addition to help with over-flow and sitting in open houses on all of our listings. It really is truly amazing what has happened in 5 months!"
--L DeCaro Just wanted to tell you the web site is fantastic!!!!!!!! I forwarded the site to over 50 people here in Pawtucket. I wish you the best of luck with it and if there is anything my organization can to via community service please let me know. -- Pam, Kiwanis Club President "I received an email from a couple requesting information about homes for sale in my area, direct from the website. The couple had seen one of my signs posted in their neighborhood, and had gone straight to their computer to email me. I showed the couple 4 houses, we wrote a contract and will be closing at the end of the month. This one commission will have paid for my website for the next 3 years!! " --A Betting |
TestimonialsCarol Mazzola & Jerry Sovelove, Marlboro, NJ
Dear Don and Diane, Jerry and I want you to know that ILoveMarlboro.com is becoming a great success throughout our town. People are starting to recognize us wherever we go, and their responses have been all favorable. In fact, a top producer from a local realty firm stopped me just yesterday and asked if she could advertise her listings on ILoveMarlboro.com! I smiled and was extremely gracious when I gave her my answer. Thanks to your great advice, we started our site promotion by contacting local merchants and offering them logo window decals, bumper stickers and free listings on our site. We then approached our real estate contacts (attorneys, mortgage companies, title companies, etc.), which enabled us to introduce co-sponsors and benevolent sponsors to the site, as well as classified and personal ads. Our determination to position ILoveMarlboro.com on every Marlboro resident’s “favorite” menu, has also led us to the mayor’s office… and the results have been very positive. We were even able to run a press release in the local paper with the mayor’s blessing, as well as some local photos on how we are promoting our site. In addition to paid advertising and signage, we realize that the concept of the on-line neighborhood newsletter necessitates a lot of door-to-door and phone work to get the word out. It also puts us in a passive role as real estate agents (something that is very foreign to us), but we firmly believe that we must patiently give back to the community before we receive. We are sponsoring a children’s ride at the Annual Marlboro Day. We are giving out jumbo pencils with the ILoveMarlboro.com logo as gifts and are raffling off a dozen or so Webkinz© for the kids, and a beautiful scrap booking basket for the adults. Proceeds will go to a local charity (Zachery’s Fund) and we’ll keep the names, addresses and telephone numbers of those who take a raffle for our lead list and follow up. Our goal is to keep a continuous “buzz” on Marlboro while we systematically introduce our other sites one-by-one. It’s a lot of work, but Jerry and I feel it will ultimately produce positive results.
