"I received an email from a couple requesting information about homes for sale in my area, direct from the website. The couple had seen one of my signs posted in their neighborhood, and had gone straight to their computer to email me. I showed the couple 4 houses, we wrote a contract and will be closing at the end of the month. This one commission will have paid for my website for the next 3 years!! "

"I am so excited that I have one closing coming up that will pay for the site for another 2 years. Just from spending a little time talking with my neighbors and letting them know how wonderful their Community Website is. "

About Us

For over 20 years Don and Diane Eagle dealt with the same issues facing real estate professionals everywhere on a daily basis. Serving Central Florida as licensed REALTORS©, Don and Diane enjoyed success, yet at the same time, they recognized the marketing and advertising ‘routine’ as accepted and practiced in the industry to be cumbersome, wasteful and downright frustrating.

They knew things could be better so in 2000 they decided to take a more direct and human approach to marketing and created MyOnlineNeighborhood.com. From the get go they decided this wasn’t going to be about ‘them’. It was going to be about ‘their neighborhood.’ At their own personal expense in both dollars and time they created a website for their own neighborhood.

It was a website of the neighbors, by the neighbors, and for the neighbors – it was a huge success. Today over 2700 neighborhoods have their own websites where they can share information, discuss issues, local merchants make offers directly to neighbors, and more.

Those who’ve adopted the neighborhoods have access to first class IT services, technical and sales support, as well as read-to-print proven neighborhood promotions and events.

What began as a notion has become a national phenomenon growing by the day. While the rewards resulting from sales and a more efficient advertising budget are significant, the intangibles make it all that much sweeter for Don, Diane and those who’ve climbed on the bandwagon.

Does one have to be in the real estate business to adopt a neighborhood? Of course not. Chambers of commerce, insurance people, veterinarians, special interest groups and clubs – the list goes on. All that’s required is a willingness to put in a little effort and a sincere commitment to helping the neighborhood.

Those who’ve adopted neighborhoods are actually having fun and have become a part of the fabric of the community. Yes, it’s helping them but it’s also helping so many others in both commercial and personal ways.

It started out as a business that developed into a pleasure and we welcome you to the neighborhood. Give us a call or drop us an email.
